A little... Seal... Watching.

Spent a day in Victoria. My friends and I went whale watching, however didn't see any whales! We had a lot of fun nonetheless. It was a great 3 hour ride around the water, and you know what? I was in American waters for the first time! That's pretty cool to know.

Saw some harbour seals, very interesting creatures. Reminds me of walrus' because they're so fat and lazy looking. I loved the noise they made... kind of like a really deep dog bark. The gulls were annoying, but meh. The whale watching ride took place in a zodiak boat. It was so cool! We sat in the front, it almost felt like a roller coaster when we hit the 10 foot waves. So cool! I loved it!

Weekend in Victoria

flying over English Bay, Vancouver.

Went over to Victoria a couple weekends ago with my boyfriend. Originally went for a 2 day trip, ended up staying 3! Haha. We flew over there in the early morning and flew back 3 days after.

Victoria is so amazing! It has so many gluten free friendly eateries! I must have eaten $200 worth of food!! My boyfriend maybe ate twice that amount but he had more options, hehe. The weather was kind of crumby 2/3 of the days but still we managed to have so much fun. I can't wait to go again, mostly just to eat!

and this random photo... The engineers thought it'd be funny to plant a sunflower on a block of Styrofoam that floated past the harbour. I truly love their creativity!

Harbour Air Seaplane ride!

My first time in the air!! I had a great time! I work at Harbour Air as a barista and I got the opportunity to take a ride on one of the Otter's! Not only did I get to be on the plane but I also got to go in the co-pilots seat! I didn't bring my Canon 5D because they just told me when I got to work that I'd be going on this flight so I could only take photos from my iPhone. But hey the photos still turned out great!!
